Luckily the safety standards in real motorsport are ludicrously high nowadays. This happened at the weekend, and amazingly, no one was 'seriously' injured. The driver (Sophia Floersch) was able to tweet just hours after this, and thanked Dallara for their amazing chassis which was able to absorb much of the impact.

Thatโ€™s scary and impressive! Incredible that no one got in the way during the flight and landing.

#6 A large stroke of luck, for sure.

#7 It was a huge relief, especially given the radio silence for hours after the accident!
