While not classed as an Esport, I feel it's important to highlight the Speedrunning community, as while they do not compete against each other on the game, they do compete for world record times. 

GDQ (Games Done Quick) is a showcase of the speedrunning talent, by gathering the fastest players in the world to raise money for charity while completing their favourite games as quickly as possible.
