In recent years EA have stepped up their efforts in creating Esports ready titles, with FIFA 18 very much at the forefront with the tournament being held on the majorly successful Ultimate Team game mode. One question always pops into my mind however whenever I tune into a FIFA event, that is - Why would I watch virtual football when the real thing airs at the same time? I feel this comparison would be made by many as well, creating a challenge that EA will need to overcome.
