PUBG voted Esports Game of the Year
Recently Player Unknown's BattleGrounds was voted as the Esports title of the year! What do you think of this? Personally I found it a little bizarre, as not only is the scene for it pretty small, but the game is often critiqued for having too many elements that make it noncompetitive and unbalanced.
On what grounds did they give the awards?

The organisers went with this criteria in regards to picking a winner:
"Awarded to the online game that has the best competitive scene, or potential to grow one, and most entertainment value."
Is it popular then?

It’s not on the same level as the big Esports titles, but the scene has grown exponentially since the games realise!
