Esports at the Olympics?
Esports has been recently featured at the ongoing Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, albeit to a mixed reaction.
Alongside the IOC's recognition as a sport, do you think that Esports should be featured at the next Olympic games?
Before I read the press release you linked I wouldn’t have thought that esports could be an Olympic sport. Now I’m not as sure. I wonder what the definition of sport is in regards to olympics.

Hm, I dunno! It sounds a bit weird. To me olympic games are usually physically demanding, right? It seems that it needs to be distinguished in some way.

While I appreciate the added traction that Esports is gaining in mainstream entertainment, I feel 'Elympics' (great name Niklas) would be the best approach. Plenty of games covered, and wouldn't get in the way of the traditional Olympics 🙂
