Have you heard of or seen Esports before?

Maybe it was on the television, or more likely online.  Possibly there has been an event advertised near you? In the UK there is a channel for it, but it is not well developed and doesn't even show in HD. What about you guys?

I have never heard of it before! From what I understand, it’s like competitive video games. 🙂

I think the first time I heard of it was when they broadcasted live from Dreamhack on Swedish television.

#2 Ahh I see! Dreamhack is one of the bigger event organisers, but they don't host any events in the UK unfortunately

I've heard a friend mention it a few times, I'm guessing it is mostly male dominated? 

#5 At the moment competitors are generally male, but unlike more traditional sports, females are able to compete in the same events. Unfortunately its pretty rare, but there is someone named Geguri who could be a future professional player in the future
